How long does it take to get secondary glazed windows from your company?
After you contact Sound Proof Windows, I, the owner of the company, normally go out and provide an onsite measure & quote within that week, but sometimes it may be the week after.
I normally give you a Presentation about the functions & benefits of our Secondary Double Glazing and then perform a measure up which could take anything from half an hour to one and a half hours.
I then give you a quote.
Sometimes, people do sign up on the spot & I always ask for a 50% deposit.
If they do not sign up then and there, I always follow up with them a week to 10 days later to answer any outstanding questions.
Once the Deposit is paid in either case, manufacturing the site specific windows may take any time from 2 to 4 weeks depending how busy we are.
Installation of the secondary glazed doors or windows is done as soon as windows are made and the installation takes around one hour per window or door.
You can see examples of the installation process on our Videos page. When compared to traditional double glazing where windows have o be completely removed, it is an amazingly quick and mess free process.
